EFL Teachers Wanted
We are looking for qualified experienced enthusiastic teachers – full and/or part-time positions available.
Job Summary
LSI/IH Portsmouth is now recruiting experienced, qualified and enthusiastic part-time and full-time teachers for General, Business, Exam, Pre-Sessional and ESP English courses.
Ideally, teachers who are able to teach across the spectrum, although we realise this is asking a lot.
We are asking for experienced teachers as we need them to hit the ground running – we are very busy!
Requirements: Minimum: degree plus Trinity Cert TESOL or CELTA plus 2 years’ experience. Fixed term till the end of August initially with the possibility of longer-term work after the summer.
Details of Position
General English, Business English, ESP, Pre-sessional and Exam Teachers. LSI/IH Portsmouth PORTSMOUTH is recruiting qualified, experienced & enthusiastic teachers for the following full and/or part-time positions:
1) General and Exam English EFL Teachers of Adults;
2) Business English / ESP Teachers;
3) EAP & Pre-Sessional Teachers.
Applicants should possess high levels of organisational and communication skills and be able to work in a team, have native-like competency of English, be flexible and have good time management skills. In addition, they will be willing to engage with and contribute to LSI/IH Portsmouth’s superb social media presence. Excellent opportunities for professional development within an organisation dedicated to the learning of students and staff. Part-time positions would be ideally suited to local teachers.
Qualifications
1) General English EFL Teachers of Adults:
Minimum: Degree + Trinity Cert TESOL or CELTA + 2 years EFL
experience. IELTS, Cambridge Exams + EAP experience & DELTA or Trinity Dip TESOL desirable;
2) Business English / ESP Teachers:
Minimum: Degree + Trinity Cert TESOL or CELTA + 2 years Business English / ESP experience. Business qualifications/experience + DELTA or Trinity Dip TESOL desirable;
3) EAP & Pre-Sessional Teachers:
Minimum: Degree + DELTA / Trinity Dip TESOL or MA in TEFL or Applied Linguistics + 2 years EFL / EAP.
Salary and Benefits
Hourly Teaching rates from £18 to £21 per hour subject to experience and qualifications.
We can offer assistance to find short term accommodation at the local university for the summer period.
