Cheerleading, Venezuela and Portsmouth Student Union!

roof top interview with carlos

A while back we had the loveliest student at LSI/IH Portsmouth from Caracas in Venezuela. Carlos was initially studying General English before moving on to complete his Cambridge Proficiency Exam. Now he is studying for a masters in Scotland! Carlos was an extremely well-loved and caring student, and made friends with everyone. He agreed to make a short video with us to explain the benefits of joining a club at the University of Portsmouth Student Union, and how it greatly improved the sixth months he spent in Portsmouth.

Update 2019:

A few things have changed since this blog. LSI/IH Portsmouth students can still access the library, the gym (at university student membership prices), the student union building such as the SU bar, purchase a student card and attend UPSU organised events such as Purple Wednesdays.

We can also informally put students in touch with various societies to see if they can attend any events or meet-ups, although this is dependent on each society. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that students can join every Portsmouth university society.
