Key Information
| Minimum age: | 18 for GE and Exams courses 25 for Business and Executive courses 30 for 30+ courses |
| Maximum class size: | 12 for GE and Exams courses 1-4 for Business and Executive courses 8 for 30+ courses |
| Course hours: | 1 study hour = 60 minutes |
All courses offer an extra 7 hours of supervised self-access study plus daily homework.
Students can start on any Monday, except public holidays. Please note that there are no classes on public holidays, but Business English afternoon classes run as normal.
This year’s courses will finish on 22nd December 2023.
LSI/ IH Portsmouth is open from Tuesday 2nd January 2024 to Friday 20th December 2024. We reopen on Monday 6th January 2025.

Cambridge Exam Courses and Exam Dates & Prices:
Our group CAE Cambridge courses are designed to finish just before the exam date so that students take the exam when they are most prepared. You can join this course on any Monday when the course is running. You do not have to enrol for the entire duration of the course. You must enrol for a minimum of two weeks and study any length course from 2 weeks upwards.
CAE, FCE, and CPE courses with 1:1 Exam preparation run all year round.

For 2024, our Full-Time OET Preparation course is offered on a closed group basis only. Please contact us to discuss your needs further.

Course Change Supplement:
There is a course change supplement of £25 on any changes made to the original booking – where we have to produce new documents/invoices; dates; course changes (but not upgrades); adding/cancelling accommodation and transfers; shortening courses. Note there will be no charge if the changes are due to a visa delay.
