113 Kitchen and Bar is Now Open – Let the Fun Begin

After many months of decoration, planning and hard work, 113 Kitchen and Bar is now open.  Thursday the 25th October saw the Grand Opening with our Board of Directors from NPTC, long-term friends of LSI/IH Portsmouth, local councillors and friends from the University of Portsmouth.

Mark Dacey from NPTC (LSI/IH Portsmouth’s owners) unveiled a plaque heralding the start of a new era for what was Cafe Parisien.

The wine flowed, nibbles were provided and music entertained everyone, supplied from the Brophy family. Lea Brophy the Principal, his son Brendan and friend Simon who call themselves “The Craic and Session Band” played country and folk music and Lea’s daughter Khaleda with her husband Danny, who go by the name “The Day of the Rabblement” played indie folk music.

A fantastic night was had by all, and we all know that this is the start of many many fantastic evenings of fun, laughter and entertainment.
